NeuroIntensive Care Summer School 2025 is the seventh in-person edition of a successful course aimed at fostering a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.
The goal of this clinically oriented week is to provide intellectual interaction with leading experts and to gather the essential information needed to treat neurological and neurosurgical patients, including traumatic brain injury, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and intracranial hemorrhage.
The target audience includes staff doctors and residents working in ICUs, as well as neurosurgeons and neurologists. The course provides a consistent set of foundational knowledge, updated treatment strategies, and clinical scenarios, including hands-on simulations, to be used during patient management. Throughout the week, participants will be intensively exposed to lectures on topics ranging from basic concepts to monitoring systems and treatment strategies for traumatic and non-traumatic neuro- emergencies. We will provide students with live, in-person lectures by outstanding experts and facilitate direct interactions with the faculty. The practical sessions, held daily for three hours, will cover neuroradiology interpretation, bedside neuromonitoring (EEG, ICP), hands-on transcranial Doppler and cerebral echography and clinical cases.
