Marine Research and High Education Center
MaRHE Center is a researching and teaching station situated on a Maldivian island in the middle of the Indian ocean. The center, surrounded by amazing coral reefs, with its labs and its facilities is the perfect place for all kinds of environmental research on pristine tropical ecosystems.
Was officially inaugurated on January 28th, 2009. Purpose of the Center is to carry out research and teaching activities in the fields of environmental sciences and marine biology, science of tourism and cultural geography, to teach how to protect this fragile environment and its biodiversity, how to use and manage its resources in a responsible way.
