Embark on a transformative journey with our GEM-SILKWAY 2024 Summer School on Energy Transition in Tirana, a program meticulously designed to delve into the realms of sustainability, energy transition, and green energy management. This immersive one-week experience offers participants a unique exploration of cutting-edge renewable energy technologies, comprehensive analysis of evolving policies, and an in-depth understanding of the economic dimensions propelling Europe's sustainability shift.

At the heart of the GEM-SILKWAY initiative lies a commitment to sustainability and energy transition, as the program addresses the pressing global need for green energy management. With a focus on Eastern Europe, our Summer School adopts a cross-cultural perspective. GEM-SILKWAY, a network of 17+ global partners dedicated to advancing sustainable practices and green energy solutions aims to become a hub for knowledge exchange, fostering a community of over 600 students who have actively contributed to the Alumni GEM network. A dynamic platform for sharing news, information, and engaging in activities related to the ever-evolving landscape of energy sustainability.

Prerequisites

GEM-SILKWAY is aimed at young graduates of master's degrees, master's degree programs, PhD students and PhD graduates, researchers, professionals in the field mainly with a scientific background. Knowledge of English is a mandatory requirement for all participants. Selection will be made on the basis of CV and a motivation letter.
